Clongriffin update the multi million mosque turns out to be a store front!

Earlier this year a local residents web site had the following discourse:
http://www.clongriffinresidents.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2814&start=30

Recently we received a report from our Clongriffin correspondent concerning
the plans for a massive mosque on the site including the following photographs .
These photographs either indicate that the project has failed or that this mosque is a temporary one while the building goes a head. There does not seem to be any news about the planning issue.

Note the Dublin Welfare Society is mentioned, a body that has no communication with the outside world?
Mosque notice
New Mosque
It is clear that like Clonskeagh this is not a response to the local needs of Muslims but one being imposed by big money from outside the state. When Clonskeagh was built there was great opposition by folks attached to the SCR Mosque
as they had developed a real community in the area which was the former home of Irish Jews.
I noted on RTE news tonight that the IFI which is associated with the SCR mosque was the organisation which was reported on at the end of Ramadan.
I noted the Islamic Cultural Centre in Clonskeagh was not represented at all. During the the former Fianna Faíl Government they were treated as the Muslim Vatican.
Clonskeagh was fundamentally the Muslim Brotherhood at prayer. They seem to have been cast adrift by the Maktoum’s who originally funded the place. Also there shift to the Egyptians has been stopped by the end of Morsi’s reign as Pharoah.
New mosque and Almaghrib

Note the three notices. The one mentioned above which is mostly associated with the building plan but is not willing to enter into dialogue with Irish society and local residents. Then there is something called the Clongriffin Islamic Centre?

Finally there is Almaghrib but that looks like just a once off as when looking at their web site Ireland has no real contact details.
