Yusuf al-Qaradawi who it was believed had been expelled from Qatar is still there.

This report makes a number of important points:

It is clear the new leader of Qatar has not followed his UAE colleagues and has firmly linked himself to Yusuf al-Qaradawi.Qatar is mixing US military interests with giving the Muslim Brotherhood a safe shelter.

The extreme statements he makes here makes it look like he will never be able to return to Egypt. It is likely the Clonskeagh Mosque has lost its patronage and funding. We call on the Egyptian Government to release the Cairo 4!

“There is no longer democracy in Egypt,” he said.

“Egyptians have been patient for 60 years and when they gained their freedom, they chose Mohamed Morsy to be their first elected president,” he added.

Qaradawi described Morsy as being the “first president who gave people freedom and democracy, allowing them to say and do what they wanted.”

Qaradawi described the military as “oppressors who have no limits.”

“Look at what they are doing in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, various countries,” he said.

“Those oppressors have killed worshipers, fasters, pious people and readers of Quran who did not harm anybody.”he said.

“The military, police, thugs, and snipers killed thousands in Rabaa al-Adaweya which was obvious injustice,”he said.

“I swear to God I saw a sniper on a rooftop who chewed gum while shooting people like cats and dogs,” he added.

Qaradawi described the current regime in Egypt as “thugs who kill people and steal their money.”

“Their rule would not last,” he added.

Qaradawi defended Al-Azhar University students saying they were defending their university, looted homeland, and democracy.
