I was pretty deep in the school – worked for a number of the long time students and high up teachers. I even took care of some of their finances, and spent a lot of time in their homes being close to them.

They are all liars.

They preach abundance, but all of them are in debt to Gudni. They make thousands in one weekend, but spend it all on MAGE classes (5+ grand a week multiple times a year plus the regular temples ect, and travel and hotels – even the rich get poor on this plan).

I even watched them kick out multiple people for smoking weed, while they held their sacred temples above one teachers grow room! Hypocrisy at its finest!

Not to mention a leader who hires prostitutes to work in the Japanese temples (a few of which have come out since then as being forced into prostitution against their will), and who convinces married couples to cheat on each other ect….. He really pushes his ideas down your throat and pretends like you are ignorant if you have a different opinion about anything.

I remember watching Gudni go through his vegan fazes….. Dude eats McDonalds and coke, then one day befriends a vegan guru, and tells the whole school that they must become vegan. He says that this was always the schools teaching, despite never mentioning it before, and never following it before.

Not to long later – there he is eating crappy quality factory farmed meat and drinking coke again. If he cant even make the rituals help him overcome his giant ego, why is he making empty promises to everyone else?

They come off nice, and many of them are mostly nice people, but there is a lot of deception that goes on as well (especially the higher up the ladder you go!).

Me too have been an initiate, and really enjoyed the mystery and excitement and feeling of doing something to really follow up my newly awakened need to do something to heal the world and help everyone. I just had woken up to Love, and was in that “newly salvated” phase, I am sure many know what I am talking about. I was both exhausted and reduced, and on fire on a pink cloud, in love with all life.

When I first came in touch with RMMS/Modern Mystery School, I was weak physically and psychologically and with low energy levels, after just having managed to break out of a long abusive relationship. I was mentally and emotionally programmed to be controlled by my ex partner, I had undetected addictions to being abused, and controlled. I unconsciously needed to belong, to make good in the world and I was being controlled by my surroundings even my surroundings intended it or not. If someone had been looking for a victim, I was a good candidate. I see that today, after many years struggling, being diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder and really have had to work and go to therapy to find myself and my own internal leadership and also to learn to point my love inwards, not only outwards to everyone and anyone else..

To me it showed to be not the right thing for me, to be part of that movement, so I just quit. Nobody tried to abuse me, I did not see any signs of abuse, just a bunch of young people seeking and exploring and walking their paths freely. Lovely people. Though I di dnot understand why they needed to have such high fees, and I did concider it a possibility that this was a socalled pyramide game or even a scam. And it might be. Or it might not be neither a pyramide game or a scam. I do not know, and I do not want to speculate. If someone have experienced abuse and can prove fraud or scam, I would suggest taking it to the police and have the responsible person(s) sued. It is a responsibility to make sure lawbreakers ar being made responsible for their actions. That is my opinion.

Neither I, nor anyone else, can know how it is to be another human being, because all people’s paths are so unique, and diversity is great in the world. None of us can know what goes on in the head of Gudni or of any of the other members or anyone, or at least not be so incredibly rude to claim knowing better than a person him- or herself what he/she thinks, feels and what motives they have behind their actions.
For me, it is good and loving to accept them for what and who they are, and to respect their choices and support them in following their own paths even that same movement seemed to be a “quitter” and lead to a feeling of fraud and scam for us. As long as there is not really a scam that can be proved. I think that we have no right to judge others for what they do or that they sacrufice, e.g. of money to organisations or sects, when they are grown up people that have the responsibility for themselves and there are no obvious abuse going on. It is good to care about others, but not to the degree that we take on their imagines experiences or imagined emotions, and even start to feel offended on their behalf and talk their imagined, upspeculated causes…Now, this is also a type of behaviour that could need to be discussed withwith a psychologist, I would be so rude to claim.

I have to this days still a couple of wounds after my meeting with RMMS/Modern Mystery School. I still process it. I still have hurtful emotions about it some times. I do my annual rounds of internet research on the movement and on Gudni, to see if there have come some new info out, and to see how I myself see everything, if I have developed my view any more. And I always have.
I must say that the school have benefited me a lot. It has given me a glimpse into that mystery that I craved. It has given me adventure, and important lessons of life, a lot of questions that I need to answere, myself.
And I met beautiful people that I think back of with good feelings. Well except my guide that seemed to really not care that much. But hey, my guide was also young and exploring and adventuring. And being really nice and kind. And in the end, my own emotions is totally my own responsibility and only mine. Noone elses.

It is okay to change our paths. It is okay to have all kinds of feelings. It i okay to part ways. Feelings and experiences are okay. We are okay. It is okay, and we are all going to be fine. We are safe too. And loved. :) All of us, nomatter what paths we chose and choose, we are safe and loved.

It was great sharing this thought with you all, thank you. I love you, and wish you all the best that you wish for yourselves. I “just know” we must have quite a lot in common since we meet right here in this thread on a seldom theme, and I can almost dare to say that I feel it. Mwah! ;) Joy to you, and lots of love! :)

Jim, GG underestimates the intelligence he can be up against. His emails to me were utterly aggressive. He is way not as smart as he thinks he is. Even the fact that he didnt realise once a post has been copied it cannot be removed from web lol I just watch and think sooner or later his fraud will beuncovered. It is appalling that he clams to have fed children in the Philipines, Philipino kids are impoverished but they arent starving!! (kids are in greater need in certain countries in Afrika!) But hey the publishing laws are very chea nd unregulated in the Philipines as are the Charity rules!!! (yes i am alleging his business managers can manipulate this potentially corrupt environment) I doubt his accounts may go thru USA, Japanese system. Other peopl are aware of him but like me dont care enuff bout him to pursue a journalistic investigation as he would glory in the attention. He’s just an average dude that hates the fact that he just aint brilliant :)

When I checked this out the only group close to this title was ‘The Oxford Bibliography Society.’ which, as ud imagine is simply linked with bibliography, apears to hav nothing to do with Human Rights or humanitarian awards…so even had he got the spelling incorrect, both groups would not likely be linked to humanitarian concepts….

The problem with abusing trust in one area of life is that trust is fundamental to any relationship and once abused/lost in one area will undermine all areas. Once the abuse has happened and is acknowledged there is little that can be done to rebuild the relationship or reputation. Once others are aware of this their own judgements will kick in.
In the position that GG holds himself then he needs to be seen to be above such behaviour. If he holds a private life outside of his ‘work’ then what he does in that life may be his own business and as long as it is not illegal there is no need to comment.
In this circumstance though it appears that he is setting himself up as a head of a school, taking money for classes, When money and ‘professional’ relationships are involved then standards of behaviour must be higher. If now then the power imbalance means that abuse has taken place. Remember, most of the ‘victims’ came to him looking for healing. They acknowledged their vulnerability and he needs to be above abusing that.

Even though my friend was/is not gay, Gudni convinced him to sleep with and date an older (in his 30-40’s) man against his better judgement. Gudni convinced him this would help him get over ego problems or something of the sort….. When it didnt work out, and my friend had a traumatic experience, Gudni kicked him out of the house, and a month later, he was kicked out of MMS, because he smoked weed once. Needless to say, my friend has been very traumatized by Gudnis weird logic and sex ideas….. Traumatized enough to forsake all spirituality in any form, and de-friend anyone associated with MMS (including me – tho I left at the same time as him). Really hurt his life (and mine) and destroyed our friendship…..

Hopefully you and I are imagining different examples and that is why you’re offended by me. If not, and you were one of them, then please do forgive yourself and maybe ask her too, and I will just say sorry for bringing it up, none of my biz.

There are certainly a lot of ways we could work through the subtleties between discernment & judgement, victim & abuser,etc.. and I—in no way–would I want to imply that G is less responsible for his OWN actions. I’m just saying he didn’t have to work too hard for accomplices either. I don’t think victims need to blame themselves. I do feel that if–IF–there is any part of a situation sourced by a victim, it is probably better to know it–with compassion. (Plus I’ve found that truth without compassion really isn’t the whole truth anyway.)

I do still hold my opinion that it lacks credibility (for some of the people I saw) to cry “abuse” in certain circumstances, like willful infidelity, where women (and men) willingly and knowingly suspended their own clear ethics and social conventions to engage in questionable sexual and financial behaviors and co-usury. (and I say that as one of the more non-conformist people I know… Even I can see the value of some old-school right/wrong playground training in that department.)

I also still believe that–apart from rare cases of adults that are so fragile they cannot function in the world without legal guardians–we all have free will and discernment, however damaged it may be. And it is damaged and dinged by life from day one. It pisses us all off when we realize we’ve made bad deals, especially if it reveals things we don’t like about ourselves in the process.

I once had the impression that G was collecting people who had been abused, but I didn’t comment or act on that. Me speaking up even now, years later, invites responses like yours that are really unpleasant where I’m blamed for hurting someone even more, so my instinct to shut up and forget that intuition was understandable. Once again, hurting more feelings was not my goal.
The injured child inside us is probably a big part of what allows adults to hurt each other. I can accept when you say my correct response to injured women is compassion. You are right. I will also say my correct response to an “adult” woman includes reminding her that her original hurts need justice, and this won’t make it okay for her to hurt other “adult” women–like getting sexually involved with a cult leader under his wife’s nose.

Part of self-forgiveness is admitting it’s ok to NOT be perfect, and to have free will and NOT use it well. (I’m assuming this approach is going to come in handy for us all as we realize what our denial, political parties and corporate employers have gotten us to align with as far as humanity and Mother Earth are concerned, but that’s an issue for another day…)

If G brutalized or mind controlled “completely innocent” and helpless people (?) as effectively as you are describing…well I didn’t see that, and that would be entirely different and a matter for legal prosecution. I saw or later heard of things that–maybe–approached that line? Not sure.

People in MMS were sincerely comforted by feelings of spiritual growth and companionship (nice) and it went sour with a group tendency toward feeling special, and little bit more special than everyone else, eventually feeding into the spiritual warrior thing that could have turned pretty dangerous.

I maintain there is a difference between compassion and surprise, especially fake surprise. I don’t believe women (or men) who just need love somehow “deserve” to be used. Not so. I just say that when discernment is not there, and otherwise intelligent women make themselves readily available for that brand of sexual usury by a guru–like it is a compliment or favor–there really is no shortage of weirdos who will come out of the woodwork for that. I didn’t invent that phenomena just by noticing… and pretending otherwise really doesn’t help us, does it? I wouldn’t blame a person who got chased by a shark either. I’d be compassionate and do everything in my power to help, but if there was blood in the water, am I obligated to act surprised, or just get to work?

I had a lot of good memories of classes with G, but eventually I had to re-evaluate my experiment and just admit–hey, even a broken clock is right twice a day. I still value some amazing people I met. That was the best of it.

I can agree that self-forgiveness will make all of us less susceptible to people like G. Who knows. Maybe I don’t express myself very well, and maybe you’re even right about me. Or, it’s possible that both You and I have a ways to go on that whole non-judgement thing.

Add I have noticed that many people who do well in the school as recruiters etc, those to fit in nicely, are more over on the bully side than the vic. There is no judgment here, but it is vital to be able to see this. This is why they get on so well with gudni. After leaving the group, for example, I read a lot of the dalai lama’s material, and I couldn’t for the life of me understand what he was going on and on about compassion for. Because I had bought into gudni’s worldview to my own detriment (as various possessions attest to for example), I was sick as a soul could be and couldn’t relate to compassion. So, because I am familiar with gudni’s modus operandi, I can see you exhibit his super harsh ways of thinking and accompanying arrogance. I particularly want to address your statement that because the women had hooks, it was just par for the course that some (you make him sound benign) man would come and tap into them. NO. The correct method in this context is to roleplay so the person has an awareness of what is going on. I have friends involved with tantra healings and it’s the most basic 101 tenent that the person be aware when their stuff comes up. How else will they know. Gudni doesn’t work like that, now does he? It is exceedingly unethical to do what he does, and like you seem to ponder, the question is does he do is consciously or is he a screwball. I for one don’t care. If it looks like duck and quacks, it’s a duck, a fact mms culties need to throw in the bin early on in order to stay in the cult…

As far as magick goes, defining it is very personal and it gets tricky anytime I use my personal vocabulary with other people and assume we mean the same things. I don’t want to give him too much credit, and I know my own sincerity and personal power were behind something positive as much as possible. If he is really some divine, flawless leader who has been impugned, well…he’ll forgive me my errors. As it stands, nothing we say will cause him to reflect or even miss a beat. This makes me feel sad since I had genuine liking for him and not just adoration, caution or teacher/student respect.
As far as the sexual misconduct, there were comments and “looks” that I reflex-considered jokes or some type of “cool-ness” test for RM’s, that I may remember differently now with wiser hindsight. Like I said, that was bait I didn’t take, so I can only respond to what happened around me and the (too late) reports I got from friends I have known much longer than I knew him, in much different circumstances. It caused me some eye-rolling and head shaking disgust, but I have noticed that whenever there are people lining up to be used, the user appears. Viola’. Not okay. Also more offensive simply because there is nothing special or sacred about it. Plus, I have witnessed similar Big Guru abuses in areas as diverse as India and the Native American community, or gee, Presidents and movie producers. Usury is working gout so well for large scale groups like religions and corporations that I guess he wanted his slice of the pie, so to speak. It really is a cliche’ and–G’s game aside–if there is any such thing as legitimate shame to be ladled out…shame on the women who fall for that nonsense. When women think that being desired by the “important guy” makes them an “important woman” that’s pretty sad, but typical. It’s the state of our society that we’re still trying to outgrow without emasculating men or reversing power abuses in the name of feminism. When women go old school and compete for that “important” spot or betray another woman in the process, I have to question the low standards of sisterhood that allow this to happen in the first place. G didn’t invent that. His is an abuse of trust and habitual lying, but I wouldn’t call it sexual abuse in my own vocabulary unless it included some physical force or illegal actions. Sexual acts that women and men submit to willingly for a pay-off (energetic, spiritual or whatever) shouldn’t be re-labelled sex abuse when the false advertising is revealed. Not defending G’s deplorable actions, but he probably really does find the hook inside each person, ready and waiting. We aren’t handicapped children after all…at least not on the outside.

This site is here to help people on that journey and your comment is hugely valuable. I’m the girl who was scapegoated and so grateful to be kicked out early. I find him obviously hypocritical because everything he says he is fighting is exactly the way he treated me so in a way it was a huge mindf*** but in another way I feel I’m fortunate. However, I’m very alarmed about the sexual abuse you allude to, because on some level I still want to believe he is ok, considering the r***s I still hold … and the phenomenal experiences (both terrifying and amazing) I had during the explusion ritual. However, I wrote on another thread, where Angie spoke about sexual abuse in educo, that gudni never engaged in anything like that. I defended him. In fact, I forgot that at RM 1, he came up behind me and whispered in my ear, you are soooo sexy. I laughed it off as a joke and a perhaps a triumph, and hardly took notice, feeling I suppose that as my “guru dude” I expected him to try to control me. But for the expulsion ritual, which was black magic, I gave of myself willingly, for love of Christ, not him, and I can take responsibility But in retrospect if I had decided he was marvellous and I needed to believe this great leader “wanted” me, I could have been in deep trouble, and if he does this to other women it is classical sexual abuse if not in his case potential black magic. After reading what you wrote, I’d be wont to state that he’s losing it. People who wield the kind of power I witnessed need to keep their traps shut and their cupboards clean or else. What’s it, darth vader right. He seems to have made none of the sacrifices such power would surely entail.

On another note, I see the aliens and dragons are not walking around with us after December 21. Hmmmm, what a surprise. On his facebook page, he wrote today that people now have a battle a range of human traits, like indifference. He also defends the use of magick as the only power that can do this, which I say is nonsense. And here i thought he said all that stuff was over, that “the gates were closed”. Surely that means we can expect 1000 years of peace now lol. Guess not. Guess he wants to carry on with his fun and games. I am starting to feel a deep irony that it was he who said to me, you become what you oppose. Except for the fact that ultimately there is nothing to oppose.

This has been an interesting read. As as person who has racked-up many years with the organization, I have an insider’s answer to a lot of the questions asked about the group (as much as anyone), and a lot of mixed feelings. I have many good memories of my years there, and I met a lot of great people whom I still cherish. The answers to questions make no real difference, but I’m going to write anyway, just in case.
I remember people who complained about the school or G back in the day. The complaints were probably valid and it also seemed to me that the discounting of those people’s views was probably valid too, as their own issues rearing up. This school borrows the profit model of many major religions, and gains control the same way, so it is impossible to find fault with it–without examining all organized religions and personal beliefs, and the nature of what we accept as real.
I am a sucker for a good story. That was probably my weakness, along with a desire to feel safe and validated on some issues.
I spent a lot of money. I have eccentric interests and it was kind of nice to be surrounded by a lot of people pursuing smorgasbord spiritual interests without having to pick from what I already knew I didn’t want. I enjoyed doing energy work and I felt good, and other people did too. Including my clients. I didn’t sure cancer, at least not with anything from this school, and since that wasn’t the claim of their energy work per se, not surprising.
Some of the services are pretty useful.I don’t think that is any more remarkable than feeling good after a massage appointment. The question is: was it from some power sent through the Mystery School or just the intention, good will, and caring extended by the individuals involved? I know what my answer to that question is now.
I believe everything with a front has a back, and the bigger the front the bigger the back. The MMS certainly qualifies, and who knows…If G was pressed, he would probably just chuckle that this betrayal too is part of his teaching process, and ha! Whatever the rationale he used, I do have an issues with the convenient adaptation of all information and blatant lying. I realized at a certain point, I saw a lot of women who clearly had sexual issues and were apparently far down the garden path when G’s sexual misconduct got worked into the curriculum.
There is a predatory assumption regarding the U.S. and American by a lot of people who come here from other places.It can be money, coolness factor, whatever. I think that G’s exaggerating his exotic past and making himself more and more grand is evidence that–to a point–the bigger the lie, the more people believe it. That’s disappointing, for sure. At the same time people come to him for something, and if he asks for money and it is given, it becomes like every other part of life. It’s up to the person to get what they pay for as they go, and if they’re mad that they were promised great abundance or power…uhhhh, well the next step is to play the stock market or buy a bridge from a door-to-door salesman.
My personal decision, and what has taken more of my time, is to stop teaching or repeating any Mystery School “facts” on the nature of life, the unseen worlds, etc, unless I have a personal, tangible experience of it. Just sorting out my own skills and spiritual experiments from before I met them has taken a lot of time and introspection. If something is conjecture and just an interesting thought I still value, I strive to own it as such and say “What if?” Part of lying–distasteful to some and absolutely comforting to others– is pretending absolute certainty about things which there is no certainty. SO that brings up a question about all this “relief” work done by MMS. It is possible some good people are doing things. It is also possible (since I haven’t seen the Phillipines or Japan work for the poor) that good people are sacrificing and pouring in money to maintain a man’s lifestyle and self-aggrandizing, while believing talk about being part of something that helps make the world a better place. Sad again, but it’s working so well for the .001% in our society that G isn’t going to feel bad for trying, is he? When a person is inside this organization, there are so may stories and so many pseudo-facts repeated that it is impossible to question them all. Once a student subscribes (again, as with all groups) then there are things treated as real, just because.
The sweetness and light side of the school isn’t the problem.The invented lineage is full of holes and it is annoying to constantly hear name dropping and links to other validating groups (Golden Dawn, Native American, etc.) when so much is made up. Maybe all of it. Once someone lies, that its the possibility, n’est ce pas? It is the secret group within the group that people are probably complaining about (isn’t it always?) The school makes no claim that all collected learning is for every person. People pick. The infidelity scandal I witnessed, the sexual opportunism and “tantra” #@$&-o-rama are practically a new-age cliche’. Whenever a man or group-within-a-group get too much power and adoration… when has sexual opportunism NOT become a part of it? Yuk. But since I ducked out of that and only got the gross details from close friends, I’ll leave off there.
The spiritual warrior, demon hunting is probably what should give us all pause, and once a person invests in that reality, it really does have the earmarks of a serious cult. The hook is inside each person who signs on–so that can’t be blamed on G. The depth of our inner darkness and our willingness to “try on” a viewpoint isn’t all bad, but it got exploited to the hilt, to the point where certain people started to seem dangerous, and the jokes about poison Kool-aid weren’t that funny anymore. SO multiple choice question: If you believe in demons, then A.) G is endangering people and fueling the fire more so that draining it of momentum. if you don’t believe in demons then, B.) there are quite a number of people in multiple countries who have been mind-%$#*ed into an artificial, social schizophrenia and now have a filter that makes it impossible to interact with the world in a functional way. Now, given the state of the world, functioning within accepted systems doesn’t mean a person is healthy automatically, but this alternate reality is beyond describing to anyone who hasn’t experienced it. It would be as difficult to heal as any addiction and scary. I hope the school has changed direction and G’s been too busy being a movie-star or something, otherwise there were crews of people whose healthy skepticism/disbelief was suspended and whose submission to orders would do the army proud. All it would have taken was a little lowered inhibition from some psychiatric drugs or a psycho-bad day from G, and the possibilities were sur-really bad.
To this day, If I saw G, I might even smile or give him a hug, depending upon if he seemed like the VERSION of himself I remember and liked, but that’s because of who I am. That doesn’t mean I’m ok with habitual lying, possibly sociopathic behavior. Seriously, the last time we spoke was in a dream. In it, I asked him, “Are you from Iceland and are you a male?” That’s the level to which his assertions need to be double checked. Not good.

But then I met a real healer – a shaman. Actually- I met a few of them within a couple months. They can actually refer you to their personal clients that have healed cancer, diabetes, paralysis – has anyone in MMS ever cured any of those ailments? (the answer is no) These shamans even had doctors to back up their claims! If the MMS modalities work, then why do you need to keep buying more and more healings and classes? Why do the students who have been in the school the longest (as much as 10-12 years) still have so many problems? All the evidence points to MMS being a shallow gimmick that doesnt really heal anyone more then the next meditation practice. You dont need to pay anyone to learn meditation by the way – free classes are offered all over the world by individuals that truly care.

But you know what – I would never want to take your right to believe what you want, and do whatever rituals you want (no matter how silly they are). But, I do think people curious about the school should be able to hear different opinions from different people, and I think that abused victims of the school should have a place for support.

Great to see a healer like yourself call people weak for having a different opinion then you. Way to spread the love.

We can choose to believe what we want. We can choose to ignore the evidence of our own eyes. We can choose to believe that a small man from Iceland is the man who has allowed us to crate a new paradigm where good overcomes evil. We can choose to draw back the curtain and see that that same small mans power has been pulling the levers of illusion over people whom he acknowledges it is impossible to ‘teach’.

You believe what you will. Others will believe what they will. Neithre will be able to convince the other of their truth. We can all thank each other for what we contribute to this debate and this world. This was never about what is truth as that is a concept we choose for ourselves, this is about experiences and those of the disafected are just as valid as your experiences.

In fact the Catholic Church is inherently corrupt to the point of the pope himself covering up the massive sexual abuse at the hands of it’s Priests–and they simply by having critical mass of parishoners are left alone by this blog. If you want to investigate organizations who have ruined people’s lives maybe you should start with them…instead of wasting your time harping on a bunch of harmless eccentrics.

THEY ARE ABOUT TO FIGHT THE GREATEST BATTLE KNOWN TO MAN, THE BATTLE BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL.

THATS RIGHT FOLKS, ON MAY 5TH 2012 THE TIME HAS COME WHEN THE MMS WARRIORS OF LIGHT ARE ABOUT TO GO TOE TO TOE WITH THE FORCES OF DARKNESS, THE DEMONS, THE GREAT SONS OF SATAN AND THEY WILL SMITE THEM. FOR GUDNI AND THE CREW HAVE THEM WELL PREPARED. A GROUP OF MOSTLY MIDDLE AGED WOMEN AND AGEING, BLOATING MEN (sorry Gudni) are going to practise all the Martial arts they have learnt (one ot two weeks a year, leave a thousand dollars at the door and you must buy your costumes from us at highly inflated prices) over the past few years and smite all the power satan can unleash. The rest of us can sleep soundly in our beds as we will never know the great service that has been done on our behalf (not mine of course as because I have spilled the beans I am going straight to the fires of hell).

The big concern for me is what kind of magic trick has the great GG and his mates got up their sleeves for those who will be there in the Temple in Japan on that day. I’m not expecting another WACO or GEORGETOWN but I am expecting some pretty dangerous pyrotechnics, cause they have to have some way of making the demons show up and showing the power of their rituals and martial arts to defeat them.

Secrets out. Stay awake on the night of May 5th, don’t turn the lights off, the bogey man might just be at the end of the bed……………….
