Good lord, there is a financial miracle at the House of Prayer by John Burns, Sunday Times, August 23, 2015

House of Prayer:
John Burns in today’s Sunday Times, makes the good point that the House of Prayer purchased €12,800 worth of religious objects last year. However, it sold €85,215 worth of such trinkets – a mark up – of about 565%.

    Testimony of Mick McCrory :

Another clue, that should have warned him that she was not all that she appeared to be, was her drinking. He travelled with her by plane once and was shocked at the way she knocked back the alcohol. ‘She was spending up a storm and I excused it at the time because of her ‘suffering’. The drinks trolley would come along and she would be buying up the stuff. I was embarrassed for her. I had heard she liked the drink but I had never seen evidence until I saw her on the plane. Other people had told me she drank a lot.’
She was spotted in Dunnes Stores in Castlebar buying two big boxes of booze and paying for it with a House of Prayer cheque. ‘Why is a visionary buying cartloads of alcohol and gifts? All this stuff must have gone to her home, because there is no alcohol in the House of Prayer,’ he said.

No Mike Garde, your comment is factually incorrect. The Gardai conducted a ‘lengthy investigation’ into the house of prayer and following that the DPP threw your allegations out with a declaration that no prosecution would be made against the house of prayer.

We are not referring to the Gardai. We do note though your charitable staus was revoked in 2006. This indicates a a red flashing light. explain that?
The reason there was no prosecution was that you handed back cash like confetti to get the law off your back.
However, when dealing with a Catholic group we prefer to use Catholic sources like kevin J. Symonds whose book on visionaries and private is a must for you guys and specially Fr McGinnity who I will be commenting in a new post soon.
In his recent book Refractions of Light he brings up some criteria before we even look at the issue of checking out the visions.

    10. What are the negative criteria?
The negative criteria are as follows:

    P 19

    1. Manifest error concerning the fact.
    2. Doctrinal errors attributed to God, the Virgin Mary or
    saints in their manifestations.
    a. Vigilance is necessary against the possibility of human
additions or errors being made in the alleged revelations.

These above are the exclusive preserve of the bishop concerned. However, before he even looks at these
the next two criteria come into play.

    3. Evidence of a gain of profit strictly connected to the
    fact.

There is public information on going for years that Christina is living a double life of luxury
and this alone would be enough to lead to her automatic excommunication. This is so well known from testimonies, Jim Gallagher’s book, and eye witnesses who have observed her life of excess.

    4. The alleged visionary or followers commit gravely immoral
acts at the time of the alleged revelation or on their
    occasion.

Here we are dealing with the the Chalkey episode in England, where she was in a hotel with a man not her husband. Again this nullifies any claim to being an ethical person. The fact that Fr McGinnity stands over that indicates how he has lost his rational perspective.

    11. What are the positive criteria?
The positive criteria are as follows:
    1. There exists moral certitude or at least great probability
    the alleged revelations are real.
    2. The one claiming revelations demonstrates:
    a. psychological equilibrium,
    b. honesty and rectitude of moral life,
    c. sincerity and habitual docility towards
    Ecclesiastical Authority, and
    d. capacity for returning to the normal regimen of a
    life of faith
    3. There is true theological and spiritual doctrine and immunity
    from error.
    4. There is healthy devotion

Here we will deal with her response to the bishop. She has refused to accept the authority of her bishop and by implication Fr McGinnity going to this unrecognised place has placed the souls of countless Catholics at risk. He has been asked to stay out of the diocese but in defiance neglects his own parish every weekend and refused to accept the directive of AB Neary

That and what has followed since then from you on this blog is a clear demonstration that you are conducting a campaign of hate and harassment against the house of prayer.

Most happy to read that the house of prayer is continuing to thrive, and that the people are continuing to support it – despite your continued harassment, Mike Garde.

In the public domain it has been demonstrated that the House of Prayer is a fraud. This is not an opinion it is a fact.

Jim Lynn can’t handle things? So we have a revisit of our proxy person who merely posts their own web site
