How can these two ex top level assist the victims of abuse when they were themselves part of the abuse? They own up to it and clearly put distance between themselves and what they did before they put distance between themselves and Debra.
We are waiting to for an answer to this question which we asked?

The question is not about their (the CC,s) EXIT, the question is about how and why and what happened, what they were believing, where their loyalty was, their compromising that kept them with Debra so many years. In the interview, Clare Birchley talks about (in the end) just before her exit, she had a wake up call???? What was this wake up call? What happened to their wake up call in the beginning? There was nothing subtle about the faith through the years,that Debra portrayed, that is a dishonest account of their time with Debra. If Claire Murphy proclaims to be Catholic today, then I challenge her that she is lacking in the knowledge of what it means to be Catholic.

I agree with dialogue Ireland. Where is Clare and Claire’s exit story?there is no total honesty here. And the question wasn’t asked on the Australian TV documentory?

What I do not understand is how a person such as Clare Birchley who made such a faith filled video (originally) about the Catholic faith and and the MMM give up God in the Eucharist, the very thing she talked about, and replace God with Debra (Debra the name she says God gave her, not the name on her birth certificate). Communion services were an abuse of the Eucharist. What faith did these original members have? Why did no one confront Debra as to her lack of faith in making her community give up going to St. Joseph’s masses, the church in her backyard. The community could have been so faith filled and beautiful. A true tragedy. I consider Debra to be a tragedy.

The ongoing saga of Debra is quite entertaining. The invisible baby Jesus??? (except for those who have lost their money). After Debra passes on , I wonder what her defense will be when she comes face to face with Jesus? She has said God does not want us to be poor, Has she read the bible when Jesus says how hard it is for a rich man to get to heaven?. Does her waving look similar??? ( Kate and William’s wedding perhaps)???

We are not bewildered but it is clear you have not grasped the facts of the matter. Yes they are helping people to leave but unfortunately they are themselves helping people to leave who are now being programmed to believe that the 2 C’s are different from Debra, when they themselves are hiding their true history.
I am not all surprised by that as they have brought those leaving from the MMM influence under their own influence. I have now asked you at least 5 times where is their story of their own exit? There is none.
Again I want suggest you were nearly getting confessional before in giving us your own story, you are again acting consciously or unconsciously as a spokesperson and defence counsel in the third person?
I have no doubt they have, but part of the narrative of assisting people is to explain their complicity in what Debra did, and their own financial involvement in the MMM.
The first step in understanding a cult is their own involvement, I see nothing that indicates this has happened. Remember that Catholic practice of confession?
How can they answer the questions when they have not given an account of their own involvement. They were the enforcers for Debra. Wal was able to admit he was up to his eyes in it. The 2 C’s?
Please indicate how? I will not be answering you again and we can only assume you have no answers as the marks of repentance are sorrow, making amends for abuses. Restoring lost property and seeking to apologise to those affected. If a Catholic being willing to go to the police and give evidence about your involvement in fraud. Contacting people world wide scammed by them as part of Debra’s leadership. Debra was the main leader but each of these people must take responsibility for what they did. Helping people without that having taken place will not lead to healing for the people affected.

And Mike, much to your bewilderment they are in fact helping all those who have exited in recent years. That is the part you just don’t get sadly. They are doing everything they can to support and assist those who have left. Most importantly they are helping people recognise and see the movement for what it…A CULT! So while you bag them from afar they are here helping those in need and answering their questions. To say they have not put ‘great distance’ between themselves and Debra is laughable.
