Mind guru Tony Quinn back in Ireland
Thursday 12th June 2014
Mucky Messiah Tony Quinn is back in Ireland for the first time in years ready to share with his followers ‘The Answer’ to a happy life.
He has urged them to “bring your notebook” to a meeting held last weekend, but disgruntled former followers say it is more like: “Bring your cheque book.”
The so-called mind guru hopes to pocket even more cash from deluded followers claiming he has made a “real-life quantum leap” and wants to share the secrets of his success.
The mullet-haired 70-year-old, who has been hawking pricey seminars at his Educo cult for years, is hoping to reinvent himself yet again, had urged people to “drop everything” and get to a meeting he held in Clontarf Castle in Dublin recently.
Quinn is back in Ireland with his sidekick – oil millionaire Susan Morrice, who tried to use the High Court to force our Investigations Editor Nicola Tallant to reveal details about her sources of information for articles about Morrice and Quinn.
The case, won by the Sunday World in a huge victory for free speech, resulted in a historic ruling which saw the rights of a journalist to protect their sources being recognised by the Irish courts for the first time.
Quinn has been off the radar for years in Ireland, but he recently wrote to supporters: “This is the most excited I’ve been… Drop everything and get to this meeting.”
In his letter, Quinn says he and Morrice and her nephew Josh Stewart have together come up with the concept of ‘The Answer’.
Quinn was hoping to sell his seminars in the sun during the meeting for a depleting number of his cult followers.
