Director of Dialogue Ireland to visit Virginia College to speak on Cults on October 23rd 2013

This is the first time he has visited the school and it is in the same week when the school celebrates its 50th Anniversary.

Virginia College was founded in 1962. The school has grown rapidly over the years and has a present enrollment of 740 students. The aim of Virginia College is to prepare our students for work, further education and life. The motto of the school is “ Tús Feasa Fiafraí,” meaning knowledge begins with questions. We expect and encourage the highest academic standards as well as placing a strong emphasis on developing the whole person. The development of the whole person- academic, spiritual, cultural, physical and creative- is a priority in our education process. This is also reflected in the many extra-curricular activities in the school.
