We would welcome feedback concerning Sai Maa and her organisation. It is our intention to add new material once we have had time to process it.
A relation of mine is involved with an organisation called Humanity in Unity (HIU), led by a charismatic female leader currently known as Sai Maa. Sai Maa is a disciple of the infamous Sai Baba, and often refers to him as her mentor.
My relation has visited the US to attend “courses” run by this woman. I know these courses are very expensive, and that substantial sums have also been given to a “trust” for Sai Maa’s “health and well-being”. My relation has recently began discussing the sale of property he owns, on various pretexts. Over the past year, my relation has begun associating more and more with people associated with this organisation. Over time, they have taken up more of his time, to the point it is difficult to meet him on his own, i.e. he is almost always in their company. This has been concurrent with a gradual lessening of time spent between my relation and his friends and family. I am deeply worried about him. He tends to be gullible and naive, and is easily led. If anyone has information on this organisation or people associated with it, I would be grateful to hear it.

People continually talk about how young Sai Maa looks…well I would be too if I could project myself into other peoples souls and steal their life force. This is a common practice of Sai Maa …after distancing myself from her I’ve had several experiences where I go to a real healer and after while laying in bed I would feel an energy come over me and instantly I would get the healing energy sucked out of me. There was even a time where another healer specifically put a specific merkabah energy in me and the next day I felt it get sucked out of me and the next day I was contacted saying that Sai Maa was randomly doing a merkabah activation that evening. It’s seriously sick but she gets her youthful energy by being connected to the first and second chakras of younger people. That is also how she regains her youth. There is no doubt in my mind that she energy steals from her followers. She is NOT at the level of Krishna …come to think of it …I’ve never heard of any miracles being done by her. nada. She will take credit for small things like saving people in car accidents ect…but she does not have the ability to heal the sick only rape the rich and the poor! I love how she turned the JOPH that started out as a week long event into a weekend. And still costing the same amount of $5k!!! Hahah what a crock of shit. She’s figured out how to do less and make more. A cunning business woman …and is it funny how they always mention during a gathering that this will be the last time Sai Maa is with us physically then she always shows up again and again… she knows how to advertise. The fear of abandonment runs deep in people..

Sai Maa is a master of manipulation and energy stealing. I know first hand what this woman is capable of. I have been distancing myself from her and the organization for the last few years. The last gathering I went to, Sai Maa continually asked for more money from the attendees. It was disgusting since each person had already payed thousands to be there. I was never healed by her only hurt and taken advantage of. There is a reason her top people keep leaving the organization! They get their energy sucked out of them and make nothing. On several occasions after seeing a real healer she has come into my energy field and sucked the energy out of me! Sai Maa is a thief on many levels. Yes she can connect to some divine energies but she uses them to manipulate and get massive amounts of money from people. Real healers don’t take money, only donations!!!!! I wish I never met this woman. I know people who are charmed by her and have given her a majority of their money…one woman said I would like to buy a house but I spend so much giving money to her…the people who follow her are a combination of wealthy idiots and poor seekers that feel energy of Krishna and think she can help them..she is just piggy backing on a mantra and expanding her consciousness to control these poor people for more money! Stay away from this woman before she cords into your energy and gets control of you!

I completely disagree with the negative comments. I was a aspirant of Sai Maa for 10 years. She never once told me to cut ties with my family–quite the opposite. She blessed my father while he was dying and helped him in his transition. She recognized that my grief afterwards was unhealthy and subsequently urged me to get professional grief counseling with a counselor of my choice. She helped me change my life from that of a victim to that of a being living in love and hope. Every day I am blessed with the living light and love that is Sai Maa, and every day I also embody what she has taught me.

I am someone who has also spent $2,500’s + Hotel to attend JOPH event myself and attended a few free events of Sai Maa.
I have felt like a complete idiot for taking JOPH.
JOPH is intensive group brainwashing.
JOPH seminar creates psychological damage which wrecks lives and relationships within Families! They take decent, kind people, who have no training or knowledge of these areas whatsoever, and they ruthlessly subject them to harsh psychological techniques. Some of them have a breakdown, some of them leave there families mothers and fathers divorce or leave there relationships to follow and become devotees of Sai Maa. The devotees of Sai Maa know this, it happens quite frequently.
And its the kindest people, who are “too nice” and “too trusting” who pay the price, financially, emotionally, psychologically and physically.
Many people that attend JOPH just take it at face value, they don’t really know what it is. If as them have never heard of that term, and what it means. They don’t know how it works, or anything about it.
I heard of serious warning signs about this woman going back a few years but for some reason I didn’t pay attention to the warnings. She and her devotee have been cashing in for years now, and Sai Maa comes from money, she has a lot of money and a lot of property, her circle of friends are wealthy old white millionaires. Sai Maa does not care about families and if she destroys a relationship within a family. Its just collateral damage for her business. Even worse, she even literally gets-off on the power she has over people. Its completely wrong when people say she has remorse for what she does. She certainly does not ! Sai Maa knows EXACTLY what she is doing with her techniques, and the serious risks. Those are all well-known JOPH seminar “brainwashing” techniques, used to gain powerful influence over people. Those techniques are extremely dangerous, and some people “go over the edge”, or jump over the edge. Narcissistic Sociopaths don’t feel bad if others get hurt. I’m so happy to see so many people talking about Sai Maa.
The community of Sai Maa are crooked destructive thieves with idiots who promote a fake Guru who reports to be the fem supremacy Guru who on the surface appears to be very benign but underneath that surface she promotes cutting off ties with family members & friends if they don’t agree with there arguments about Sai Maa. She defends the practice of cutting off ties with family and using the excuse that these students were abuse by there parents. Sai Maa sells you this vision of a perfect community. It is anything but. Her corrupt influence runs deep along with her pursuit of profit.
I watched Sai Maa very carefully for 3 years and I could see how she reacts towards anything that induces an emotional feeling she would actually view this with suspicion, she also tries to control the conversations very really letting anyone finish what they were feeling and if she did you could see she felt awkward & uncomfortable . The practices at Sai Maa are really inappropriate and not to mention morally reprehensible. I was introduced to Sai Maa by one of her students or devotees, at the time I was having a really rough time with work and the time spend with my family. I attend the Journey of Profound Healing course and found it really strange, she teaches people to go “back to the womb to darkness” and to eradicate any life dreams, identity, authenticity and ego; essentially, to erase themselves. At times she would tell me I should leave my family and be happy, to escape from my troubles and simply walk away as she did with her family years ago. She would say “Give it a try what could you loose the world is full of options, take the one you want”. She would make you question your own intuition. Needless to say I did not heed her advise at all. I also felt all the work that was really being done was more from the people in the class then from Sai Maa.
Soon after taking the Journey the student friend told me I had to do more with Sai Maa which included Sava which is donating your time and working for free for Sai Maa and doing what ever Sai Maa wanted. Some of her student would travel to Canada and Japan around the globe just for her. That day the student so proudly admitted to me about doing Sava for Sai Maa a while back, it took place in a hotel and Sai Maa was talking a shower. She was folding Sai Maa’s clothing and was called on by Sai Maa while in the shower and there was steam everywhere in the shower, Sai Maa asked her to extend arm and give her her hand, when she did Sai Maa grabbed her hand and placed it on her breast and asked her “What do you feel, is this the Breast of a 20 year old or a 57 year old” She responded “a 20 year”. She told me at first she was shocked but then realized what an amazing moment that she shared this intimate moment with Sai Maa and that en-fact she was amazed that her breast felt like that of a 20 year old. She told me this with a face I will never forget with eyes wide open of total adoration and joy! At that point I knew this organization stank of something really funky. The brainwashing technique, is very destructive at Sai Maa camp (especially on young impressionable minds) these students actually believes Sai Maa has mystical powers and that she somehow is ageless, well considering all the obvious plastic surgery she has gotten from all the money she has ripped off and extorted from thousands of people I’d say she that might be possible but not for long. After spending some time with her students and Sava I could see how she uses her students to make herself money, and destroy other people’s relationships and lives.
There are also stories of mediation taking place with her students and some of the elder members where a lot of touching was involved right in the presence of Sai Maa who openly allowed this and claimed it was a way of opening the soul and being totally free from all the baggage in the world. Sai Maa is also a huge fan of Sai Baba the rapist and sexual predator, who has criminal sexual assaults charges who raped young boys and girls. Before you decide to join Sai Maa Google Sai Baa and take note of all the photos surrounding her wherever she goes and even the photos in the homes of her devotee students.
Many of the ex-followers of Sai Maa know this is a Cult Organization and that she is a guru predator that brainwashes and exploits people without worry of any legal repercussions. The hard evidence is there but they need to talk about there experiences, speak up, expose and prevent more future victims of Sai Maa’s massive self-serving manipulative and abusive behavior. It’s a cult, it really is.

She demands complete obedience from her devotees and feels entitled to adulation and special treatment from her devotees, she dehumanize and objectifies people. These devotee claim to possess inside information about Sai Maa and have special rights to privileged access simply by virtue of their unbridled adulation and time-tested loyalty. Hence the Sai Maa crew which is composed of male a female devotee disciples who engage in selfless service of SAVA which Sai Maa has completely rewritten in her own manner.
I also knew a few of her followers and yes they suffer from the traits of serious personality disorders. They have messed up relationships and can barely keep a relationship because they travel all the time are rarely there for there loved ones and always passive aggressive with the ones they love. Very much Fake with showing any real love to the ones that matter in there lives. Let’s do a thought experiment. Ask yourself: what are your thoughts on a person who:
-Expects others to bow at his/her feet when they enter a room and does not act incredibly embarrassed if someone does so?
-Expects that opulent music be played whenever (s)he enters a room?
-Tells others that (s)he – and only (s)he – can solve all of their problems for them?
-Encourages others to believe that (s)he is entirely omniscient and constantly watching them?
-Encourages others to believe that their entire lives are being consciously orchestrated by him/her?
-Encourages others to set up a shrine with his/her face on it next to their bed?
-Runs an organization in which people PAY (not get paid – pay their own money to the organization) to do clerical work for them?
-Tells others that they can do whatever (s)he wants to do – no matter how selfish or hurtful or irrational – because (s)he is a superior being to all others?
What would you say about this person? Would you say they are a wonderful human being or a seriously deluded, egotistical and narcissistic person?
Because literally all of these things apply to Sai Maa.

Be very careful, everyone – there is no question that Sai Maa is running a cult, and that she is greedy, manipulative and exploitative. For whatever genuine spiritual insight she may have, her primary interest is in stroking her enormously narcissistic ego and extracting money from her followers. I know dozens of members of the Sai Maa cult (along with a few ex-members), and her approach is to break you down psychologically (talk to someone about the actual experience of the Journey of Profound Healing – she completely isolates you, limits your sleep and food for days and makes you go hysterical with psychomotor therapy) and make you become entirely dependent upon her to make large decisions and conduct self-inquiry. Her followers are discouraged from working through their own issues on their own or with anyone other than Sai Maa – to do so is an offense to her, because she convinces them that she is the only genuine way to transcend your suffering, burn your karma and find happiness. She literally tells people that she can resolve your karma for you. She also offers people the standard cult promise of essentially eliminating your shadow, giving you
total liberation from suffering and trauma. Well, I know many of her followers, and many of them suffer from the traits of serious personality disorders one would assume follow such a denial of one’s own shadow – dissociation, depersonalitzation, lack of sense of self, extreme capriciousness and impulsiveness (usually based on something they are convinced Maa wanted them to do) and general delusional thinking. Several of her followers have told me that she is very genuinely omniscient; they literally believe that she is watching their every move at all times and knows everything. I’ve heard from them that it’s ok if she acts out of anger or greed or lust because she has no ego – literally, they say that she can exploit others and behave poorly because she has no ego. Think about that for a second – they completely excuse of absolutely anything because they are convinced she has no ego. So people with an ego can’t do the same things she does? They’ve also told me that she sat in a movie theater watching HER (with Joaquin Phoenix) and said every line before it was spoken because the film was “pure source”. They have told me that she only sleeps for 45 minutes every single night – no more – despite the fact that human beings (and, sorry guys, she IS a human being) cannot live like this. They’ve told me about her gold-plated hot tub gifted to her by her followers, and how her unpaid volunteers are instructed to call all the wealthiest people over and over again, asking for money. I’ve seen with my own two eyes her followers’ shrines to her next to their beds – adorned with photos of her face and feet. I’ve heard how literally nothing that happens in their life is due to their own work, or the Universe’s work, or chance, or fate, or anything else – literally everything is attributable to Maa’s conscious orchestration.
Get the picture? Maa works to convince her followers that she is literally God, and lets them lead their lives under this delusion, giving her endless amounts of time and money and – most importantly – their sense of autonomy and self-determination. And she is forgiven for literally everything because of this irrational catch-all which states
that she is enlightened, so therefore her action comes from “source” rather than ego. No matter how much she blatantly and narcissistically exploits millions of dollars from thousands of lives, she is always excused for her behavior, while her followers can be criticized most harshly for even the slightest mistakes. Does Maa have some genuine insight? Yes, absolutely. She says many things that brilliant minds throughout human history have said, but you know what? So have countless ministers and monks and laypeople. Her insight isn’t extraordinarily unique, and she certainly isn’t omniscient. Her organization is a textbook cult – delve into the subject of cults and cult recruitment and actually try to do a fair amount of research on Maa’s recruiting and operating methods and try to argue otherwise. What genuine, spiritual leader with pure motives would encourage and allow her followers to think, behave and feel as I described above?

All of her obedient disciple devotees students have the same look wide eyed the looks on their faces, the white outfits they wear. I have to say, I did at some take a few courses with Sai Maa for some time and frankly they are without a doubt a Cult.
I have a friend who’s life was in great chaos and crisis but after she continued for a few years with Sai Maa I noticed she began to lose family and friends to the destructive brainwashes of Sai Maa and her disciples they literally tore her apart and ruined her live.
They turn people into Sai Maa fans and you see it on some of the faces of the people who work for Sai Maa. These people are called Sai Maa Robots, they are wide eyed entranced almost psycho looking people. The link below are photos that show the insane fans of Sai Maa and the people that get high from being Fans of hers. They even assign there robots to coach people, to turn them into Sai Maa fans. To only trust Sai Maa. They tell you what to say how to respond to Sai Maa how to stand, how to bow. What to eliminate from your life including loved ones. Encourage dependency and conformity. It’s a Mental torture crafted to change your mind to basically copy each other, there is no personality, they just copy each other. I watched all this for awhile while attending courses at Sai Maa and at some point had to leave because it was just too crazy.
This organization makes even the most intelligent people turn stupid and subject them to what they want you to do. Sai Maa will not set you free even after you complete a course. You will be forced upon by the stupidity to proceed further. Sai Maa members insanely force other people to join not caring about the kind of impending mental impact. They send out tons of emails and you get phone calls as well.
I feel pity for the young people, that are manipulated and talked out of their ambitions and goals. All their dreams and conceptions of life so far would crash to nothing.
Sai Maa is not just a scam. A scam just takes away your money. But this one can be dangerous and can destroy your relationship with loved ones and your family !!

Sai Maa is a fraud and criminal, family members have given her more than 30,000 bucks and she still asks for more.

She finds young people that are working hard with issues in their life and uses her devotees to do Extortion from them by forcing people to take part in her courses, claiming if you are suffering from low frequency energies—such as anxiety, stress, sadness, frustration—that sabotage areas of your life including your relationships, finances, and career the she can help you with this. She is a child predictor. Alot of people who were devoted to her left the Asharams and exposed the truth about her. She is in for the money.
I heard the same thing from two friends who’s loved one served Sia Maa by giving her “SAVA” which is donating your time and working for free. This Free Labor became a nightmare for these folks, they traveled to Canada and Japan around the globe just for her washing her clothing doing what ever she asked of them and extorting money from them in the process. There are talks about her retiring yet she would still be involved but her Devotees like “Achyutananda Das” replacing her along with the rest of the nut jobs that would take her place to try and do the same crooked work she has been getting away with.

My wife was always interested in Eastern mysticism and she fell into the cult’s clutches at a spiritualist Weekend.
I have lost my wife to Humanity in Unity (HIU) in 2015. Indian spiritual teacher, Her Holiness Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi who is teaching that the Earth is about to ascend into a new and higher dimension, and those who are spiritually prepared for the change will be moving with it.

There are alleged sexual assault charges at Sai Maa camp. There is also a person that works within Sai Maa who can admit there was psychological and emotional abuse going in this organization. Sai Maa never washes her dishes, never does her own laundry, she has people do this for her because she is “HOLLY” and her body needs to be preserved. She has even had young people touch her breast to confirm that she is ageless, to look at her naked body and to tell her face to face that she is beautiful and that she doesn’t look her age !!!! How INSANE is that ???? That just makes me sick !!!!
The other problem about Sai Maa is her swami, “Swami Parameshwarananda” who is in fact Jewish but has been compared to a nazi at the Crestone Ashram! Devotees paid for two (2) $1 million dollar properties in Crestone, Colorado!! His daughter who also works with Sai Maa and is an obedient devotee disciple who dedicates her life to Sai Maa “Becky Morrison film producer of the Light” Swami Parameshwarananda went after people, with threats of calling the sheriff, if they did not fall in line with his myopic dictates. He was more worried about getting POA approval for more beds than being a decent human being — which means he was status hungry. Again Greed! Why Sai Maa chose a male instead of a female as resident swami for the ashram, when she endorses “Feminine Energy” as the “NEW WAY” is beyond me !?????
There are more and more leaks coming out of Sai Maa Camp none of these people are deeply fulfilled. they “support” each other through “painful transformational times” but they are starting to see that their actual pain is caused by following and living for somebody else. And there is always this “do as maa says, maa said, and my teaches and maa told me”. Which is total trash!! When do we start I have 15 people that are ready to talk about how destructive this Organization has been in there lives and the abuse they all suffered.
What further steps can be done to Shut Down this Organization, Where can I files complaints? There must be some Organization that can take action and investigate them from the inside to see all the illegal things going on within and shut them Down. She makes millions and lives a Lavash Life with homes everywhere and many sports cars, I sure there must be issues within.

Why has no one set up a website or a blog to consolidate people’s stories, concerns and annoyances about Sai Maa and her Cult Organization ?
It could be a simple and elegant response to the clear distaste so many harbor towards this cult leader.
I imagine the wisest path would be for this site to be moderated slightly, so thoughtful and meaningful complaints or positive experiences and defenses (of course this is fine and welcomed!) would be posted – no inappropriate language or false accusations.

I’m one of them in addition to 15 other people I know that will be talking more about this horrible woman and her Cult Organization run by her disciples. My Ex boyfriend is a member of Sai Maa and he is young not like the older members that are clearly insane once you meet them. We were together for four year and were very seriously in Love but then Sai Maa destroyed everything we built, our home our future everything lost. He spent thousands of dollars on Sai Maa’s retreats. The foundation and communication was lost forever. I’m here to tell everyone that Sai Maa is a horrible woman and how this organization works inside.
Each of its members are brainwashed into believing this woman is there savior and can only help them with what ever issues they may have. Nothing and I mean NOTHING gets in the way of there devotion to Sai Maa, you can ask them to pull back and take a break from Sai Maa and the answer will always be the same they are not going to turn there backs on the world of energy and the spirit of Sai Maa. Sai Maa is there Core, it is who they know themselves to be. They follow her around the world from country to country and travel for her. They spend little time with the ones they love the most because they are on conference calls all the time and traveling for her.It is very very Creepy. The things my ex boyfriend told me was very creepy and sad at the same time.
She is more real to each member than there own body, or the clothing on there backs or even there own Personality!!!! They can not be realistically be in a relationship with someone who does not accept, embrace or rejoice in the devotion of Love to Sai Maa. It’s not possible for them ! Like Robots they are Wired to the Core. It’s a HUGE disconnect for them if the other person is not into Sai Maa in some way. They are poisoned from the inside, on the outside they show lots of love and seem to be amazing bright eyed people full of energy also trying hard to be someone that they really are not. But inside they are wired to serve and do all that Sai Maa ask of them. The Brain washing and conditioning goes very deep en-fact there is a lot of open touching and feeling amongst all the members to share themselves. At this level the way Sai Maa works it may as well be Rape, because it is exactly that. She is bleeding her disciples dry and alienating them from their families.
If you are in contact with any of these members I suggest you be careful or even in a relationship, they will try hard to get you to drink the Cool-aid of Sai Maa, not right away but when an opportunity comes they will get you to meet Sai Maa and when they do she will do her best to get to join there group and participate in some way shape or form. It is about energy but the energy put out there is negative, this is a very sinister cult and not healing or clearing blockage at all. The only way to be in a relationship with any member of Sai Maa is that you have to also be apart of Sai Maa, this is how it works, and this is how they want it to work. Each member is an introvert and not sure of who they really are, they want to be apart of a group but they just don’t fit in at all, and its because of Sai Maa and the way she has them conditioned and brainwashed. Totally warped around her finger. And yes they all say on the phone a code to each other, they are instructed to say “Om Jai Jai Sai Maa” all the time when greeting each other, my ex boyfriend did it all the time without fail, it made me sick to hear him say this all the time even in front of our friends and family.
Also do remember this is a money machine, each person that meets Sai Maa pays up to $2,000 to $4,000 just to vist and see her with hotel and flight. Each Person!!! Thats a lot on money & a lot luxury for Sai Maa with all her homes scattered around the country and cars and Slaves! Each member receives an allowance of money this is very true. Sai Maa’s need for money is huge.

Finally…someone said the truth about Sai Maa…she is pure evil! IT is true. When I went to one of her events, she invited me on stage the first night. She turned and said “How are you?” in a masculine manly voice with lots of bad energy coming at me. I was wigged out. I took a deep breath and said..”I’m fine.” The rest of the week, I kept telling everyone that she was evil. I thought I was the one who was crazy. I didn’t understand that I had discernment at that time. I had accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior many years before and apparently he must have still been with me. All my friends in the group acted like I wasn’t saying anything or they told me “It’s your ego.” What a convenient answer. The reality is… Sai Maa is so possessed by demonic spirits that I am not even sure there is much of a human left. And with all of these kinds of people, money is very important to them. Because of what I did with her, I almost died. She is practicing witchcraft and sorcery…. Be careful. Get away from her if you have been involved with her. She also does a lot of mind control.

I have taken a course way back and I still have friends that continue to be Devotee members or Slaves to her and they do have a hidden requirement when talking on the phone to each other they must say “Om Jai Jai Sai Maa”. Many people in Florida and Naples that are friends of mine find the entire old show crazy and insane. Its been going on for a while now and quite frankly people are feed up!!!

A good couple I went with to Naples Florida with for the Journey of Profound healing had a horrible experience. It started out interesting but quickly turn very dark. During the session the couple that i went with had hard questions for Sai Maa about there future and things they wanted in life. My friends wife was told by Sai Maa spoke to her privately and said that she felt the man she was with was not right for her and that she should flat out leave him and come and travel with her and the organization and promised her the man of her dreams. My friends wife quickly found this somewhat problematic and told me about it. I know this couple very well and they are both a very loving and caring couple so it seemed strange that Sai Maa would recommend this.
Her husband told me when he spoke to Sai Maa she seemed to really hate him and even tried to put him in a bad light saying she could see problems for him and that he should accept what difficulties would be coming his way soon. It became clear to all of us that she was clearly trying to divide this beautiful couple. After we did research and ask many friends that went to Sai Maa what was there experience, almost all the people we spoke to found the entire journey and experience horrible and felt they were being sucked into a real Cult where everyone that was a member was watching you constantly and trying hard to brainwash you to spend more money and keep tabs on you everyday.
These people and Sai Maa are a disease, any life with anyone who is a member of this Cult you are basically signing your name to be in the circle of Sai Maa who will en fact control you and always be in the way of any real good future you think you may have. She will take your life and your children away from you.
Sai Maa needs to be banned from the country she is a danger to the people – especially easily influenced youth.

My concern does not come from no where.
I lived in a monastery studying under a 100+ year old Zen teacher.
Never once heard him refer to himself as ‘awake’ or ‘enlightened’.
Nor was he terribly attached to things.
Nor did he claim to be God, Christ, Mary Magdalene, or anyone…
except himself.
Sai Maa (whom I may have met myself) is not without her faults or HUGE red flags.
1. Sai Baba’s reputation as a child molester – evidence so substantial it was publicized in the British parliament and BBC.
2. Money love – which is acknowledged (and evident) to be causing internal unrest in her closest student/lineage-leaders.
This is not about personal quibbles. Concerns remain, and this is one of the only places where people can be vocal and others be warned. My friends tried to blame me for my sense of uneasiness when I did see her interact with her closest students. “You’re not ready for the light,” they would say. Turns out a google search unearthed pages like this. Thank you HIU. I don’t resonate with everything on the website but I appreciate there being a forum.

In response to your telling me to wake up, I am awake. I became God realized in 2007 after 8 devoted years with a Living Buddha spiritual master from China. And trust me, I paid a lot of money for this priceless experience. I am amused by well meaning friends and relatives, who have absolutely no clue what it means to live in a temple, renounce, retreat, and return — dharma boot camp, I call it — yet tell me who I am, who I am not, blah, blah, blah. I look to Christ — the original rebel — as my mentor, not unrealized souls.

I seriously doubt Ma would have done this as heavy karma is involved and she is totally aware of karmic consequences. Are you sure your friends weren’t being targeted already?? – a very sadistic covert human rights violation, like the bullying of young high school students — on steroids — difficult to prove, causing suicides and murders and ignored by teachers, parents, etc., so they themselves don’t become a target. Look up “organized stalking” — it could have been one of Ma’s handlers, whom I’ve witness be extremely back-stabbing for their own egos.
Ma was my first guru in Los Angeles in the early ’90s. I was with her when she had only 15 devotees. She is a very highly evolved spiritual master. She unfortunately has a love of money but her spiritual attainment is profound. You can blame her handlers, whom I’ve personally witness push her for more, more, more $$ when she wanted to do workshops, healings, etc. for free. Anyone who attains a high degree of transcendental states does not wish to be married or have families if it means dragging the aspiring spiritual seeker back into a strictly mundane world– that is why most yogis and monks live as single people and often away from society. It’s very difficult for a novice devotee to sort everything out in their own minds. I wish peace to all who are suffering now.

A close friend went to a program. Everything they ‘presented’ to Sai Maa was then told to their close friends and they never spoke to this person again. Their privacy was violated. They were ostracized and manipulated. Stay away. It is only a way for them to control or to isolate and black mail. They still shudder wondering if she will blackmail them in the future.

I did go to JOPH – Journey of Profound Healing. It was very psychologically violent. The claim was she was pulling out the chords of our karma. We were no longer subject to psychological trauma from the past or neurological/psychological nuances. She continually placed the blame for people’s problems on their parents. There was an intense release at the end; more from the yelling finally ending in truth. She claimed it was her great power. The program actually involved sleep deprivation as everyone searched for the seed of their “problem.” Food intake cut back and hours spent observing or participating in play-presentations of people’s life traumas. This is a real therapy developed in Europe in the 60’s by a dancer. No mention of his contribution.
Naturally there will be endorphin highs at the end of such a thing. They are not indicative anything spiritual; but just human brains doing what human brains do in high stress situations. I could see many fellow members ensnared in her claims; I was for a bit, too.
It’s wild… how we’ll fall for this stuff. I regret meeting the ‘enlightened’ friends; who are really not role models in life. Read: unemployed, under-employed, struggling financially, reading into every event that happens, claiming a higher level of consciousness in relationship strains, contacting intuitives at any moment of crisis or change, drawing tarot cards, hearing voices, and believing that their work, uniquely theirs, or their presence is rising up humanity’s level of consciousness. It almost felt like they had recreated an Indian caste system in their own minds.
Note: my family; full of scientists and mathematicians picked up her and her successor’s books at my request and couldn’t finish because it’s hack science. They were too polite to tell me at the time. She seems very impressive and all-knowing if you are in a needy place when you meet her. Sometimes people are. A more stable, well-versed human would listen respectfully, chuckle, ponder a few irrational statements, and leave at the end of the evening having experienced an interesting sub-sect of New Age believers. The nuttiness is quite apparent.
I’m not sure how bad it gets in the inner circles, but it is apparent that there are those circles. My friends were in the slightly inner circles and they believed in a number of hypnosis paths, including MSIA and ACIM.

I’ve just waste my money for nothing, superficial topics, every people into the room were like zombies eulogise her with always the same sentence “om jai jai sai maa”.
She entered in the room just a couple of hours for nothing.
No teaching, just a show for to be venerated by followers.
My partner is involved too much spending a lot of money.

Something is not right in the Sai Maa camp. She has “fired” 2 of her closest followers. It was whipped off the Net within minutes of me seeing it. She charged an absolute fortune for a 3 day intensive (Belgium), which I attended, this not including room nor board. And in truth, something strange about the setup from the start. I personally know a number of Maa lovers and most of them are either independently wealthy or spend whatever they have to follow her around from country to country., now there’s regular intensives in Florida, where she has purchased a home. Where’s the humility?
In my personal experience, I didn’t find any.

My daughter has been lost to me as a result of Sai Maa’s teachings. My daughter has spent thousands of dollars on Sai Maa’s retreats or clinics or whatever they are called. When we spoke last and I said something against Sai Maa, my daughter screamed bloody murder at me and ended the phone call. That was the last time we spoke and that was weeks ago. My daughter is 29 and college educated. What does Sai Maa do to them to convert them and have them dissconnect with their families that love them. Is the next step in the Sai Maa’s to have her followers “drink the kool-aId” like the Jim Jones followers did? Someone tell me how we can join together and debunk her to all the world. SHE MUST BE STOPPED.

I went to a San Diego event last night. I paid 25 dollars and I regret it. The stage was abundantly and carefully decorated with expensive fabrics, lights and flowers. The “guru” has no presence whatsoever. She teaches popular beliefs and some stupid aura magic. She tires to scare people with talks of energy entities and stupid ugly graphics. When confronted by a young female about her misogynist about the human brain, she forgot how to speak English hahha. All her “answers” and even the people asking her questions are staged. This CULT is very OBVIOUSLY STUPID.

I’m marrying soon with a girl that follow sai maa since 10 years and she has received a very intensive brain washing.
I think that sai maa is just an impostor, a mind juggler and she like play with the mind of weak people.

I happened to switch over to a question and answer, kind of comedy programme and Russell Brand was on the panel. I could not understand anything he said and he got no laughs from the audience. I really hope someone, a friend hopefully, will have a word with him because if he goes down that road his bread is not buttered on any side.

How’s it going lads!! Back in 2007 I was a wild and young spirited lady, that got introduced to maa by a new friend at the time, he and his partner were well involved in maa.. and slowly introduced me to her.. Satsang set up every week.. then onto America to one of the healings.. didn’t get the whole buzz everyone was on very false I felt!! Anyway went to iNDA to meet her and then thats when I saw a very different woman.. I have the balls to say she was a total ducking hitch,, a bit like cruella!! Nobody listens to me I have all these lessons teachings and people don’t get it ‘ that was some of the stuff she was saying.. then went onto baba astral where I was drained and very sick.. took some vibrational meds.. but at the time I felt I was healing probably yea probably delhi belly.. after that a year or two I met her in Eire.. and just didn’t get it . I met her at the door and she was oh you beautiful I love you… I didn’t get an authentic vibe from this woman and stopped practicing diksha as I felt calling evoking her name before you lay your hands upon someone you are energetically making her more powerful as with anything, good or bad.. so I can saw I was a said maa head.. and left with my head intact. I just thought I should post the exact email I got from my mother last night. I was suspect as she has given literally hundreds of thousands of dollars away to crooks and she is in her seventies and has Parkinson’s disease. I live in San Francisco, Ca but My mother lives in a condo complex for Seniors. I got an email from my mother yesterday telling me all about Sai Maa and linking me to Sai Maa’s website. Today is November 3, 2014. Sai Maa has purchased three condos in my mother’s building and she walks around with her entourage of body guards and more. My mother is exceedingly vulnerable to scams and is so excited because SAI MAA has “taken an interest” in my mother’s help. When you see someone with homes around the world and an entourage but no formal degrees, it is highly suspect. The money comes from somewhere. My mother is continually drawn in by financial predators. I called the sales person for the condo complex. He said they are legally bound to allow a fox to move in with a chicken coop because they cannot discriminate. We have Sai Maa living amongst a bunch of sick, vulnerable seniors. Really sad.

I was reading all the posts and I was thinking that all this arguing was very personal and not objective at all. People who hate Sai Maa are generally people who got left by their wife or husband. You know what ? I understand it is painful, but divorces happen. Separation happen sometimes even when you are not following a guru. People make choices and paths change as life changes. I personnally saw Sai Maa a couple of times on free events and I appreciated very much her teachings. No money spent at all, I did not feel any pressure to follow anything and I did not leave any member of my family.
So to me, all of this is a matter of personal experience. I don’t believe there is wrong or right. Sometimes we need to accept that a relationship is over because the individuals became different and chose different paths. That does not mean that someone is on the good path and the other one on the bad one.

From personal experience I would say it is the effects of hidden occult practices of the guru/practitioner caused by manipulating a person on an energy level; it is not usually visually observable by the recipient. Questions, when asked, are rarely answered.
Whether confrontational or not towards the practitioner, it is usually the case that people suffer the consequences of the ‘treatment’/’healing’ with no way of proving what had happened or that the effects were brought about by deliberate interference and, in some cases, to cause deliberate harm.

I have met Sai Maa in 2008 in Orford, Quebec in Canada. At first, I thought all was good with her but then she proceed to tell us Sathya Sai Baba had been her Guru and that she had received a blessing from him to go on her own, and when she was confronted by people about all the allegation about Baba, she defended him, saying those were only rumors. At that time, I felt in my gut something was wrong but I did stay there for the weekend. We were told that night, that Maa would perform healing on us, and we had to registered for this, and it was over $100, I did it and frankly, after that I did not sleep all night, felt so strange and the next day, when she gave the blessings, I went straight to her and looked her in the eyes and just said :Namasté. after that I did some Seva and noticed how rude she was with people and something inside of me felt as if I had to confront her, so when she got into the room for doing more healing, everyone one was bowing at her and I looked straight at her and sent her a clear message through my eyes, that in no way, I believed she was more THAN anyone of us. I did not say a word and she never nay of my questions the day after that and each time I tried to communicate with her, I never got any reply from her…all I got from this, is that I got sick, my daughter got sick as well as my son. I went back three months later, to notice the same game….It got me sick to my stomach to see how manipulative this organization is and since then, I have noticed that some more family members have joined her and they got sick as well, some of them spent thousands and thousand of dollars to “heal” and be “awakened” when all you have to do is connect with your heart and follow your own gut intuition and inner voice!
This is a fraud, a money fraud and a mental/emotional and spiritual fraud!

Sai Maa tries to make people dependent on her by making them think they are not spiritual enough and therefore need the guru or group to lead them. Questioning is discouraged and victims told it means they lack faith. Sai Maa has slowly striped away the identity of my friend and eroded her beliefs and values, which is now replaced with the philosophy of the group or guru. Chanting, singing and meditation is also being used to reinforce new beliefs.

I can admit that I have a relation involved with the cult of Sai Maa. It is a pure financial scheme exploiting the emotionally unstable. My relation has procured large amounts of money from elderly family members to fund her placement in this organization while supposedly ’employed’ there. When money dried out, her status within the cult was greatly reduced. Please help to gain traction for labeling this organization a cult.

I used to believe in Sai Maa, but something always bothered me about her. I only went to one event and because it was my first one, I got the cheap price of just $850 plus hotel and airfare. She invited me on stage the very first night. And when she talked to me, I felt like she was pulling or sucking something out of my third eye…and then I felt kind of dizzy. I felt like she took my energy or my power, I am not really sure. After that, I freaked out. The rest of the week I kept hearing my mind says she is evil, she is the devil. And she seemed angry whenever she saw me. And since I have left her organization, I have felt much better about myself and my ability to create the life I want. I think she just wants to take people´s energy and make them weaker. She seems to have some sort of spiritual powers doing things with energy, but I now realize that this does not mean she is kind or living from her heart. I think she is selfish, money hungry, and totally an energy vampire. I am so glad to see this website and know that I am no longer alone. When I explained to other HIU members that I felt that she had taken my energy out of my third eye, they told me that it was just my ego. Sai Maa likes to tell people that when a person gets close to enlightenment, their ego will sometimes go crazy and then they will deny Sai Maa, like Peter did with Jesus. To me, she is like politician…nothing is real. I also think people need to remember she was a therapist for many years before becoming a Guru. How do we know she is a real guru? I have never seen any pictures of her and Sai Baba. And the last thing I will say is, If she were so enlightened, why did she recommend that her followers get healings from Tilak. I am very sensitive to energy and now I can feel when a person is not in integrity… how could she have not known that Tilak had some strange sexual inappropriate tendencies? I didn´t like his picture when I saw it and I could feel that there was something slimy about him.
The other thing I think Sai Maa does to people, is make them question their own intuition. I often felt like I was crazy when I was in her organization. After my experience with her, I will never have a guru nor a religion again. I do not need any of those to feel connected to source. I wish human beings would stop needing a God to follow.

I am an ardent follower of Bhagwan Sathya Sai Baba but Sai maa seems to me has nothing to do with her master/guru. I mean she follows or does nothing that I know that sai devotees do. A huge part of being Sai devotees is Bhajans. Where are those in her practice?? I mean I respect all gurus but if she is a sai devotee why does she not practice things that make us sai devotees?

How do well-educated, professional people fall for that kind of guru-worship? Someone should do a sociological study of the phenomenon regarding what makes such people lose their otherwise rational senses. It is curious that so many gurus, cults and New Age scams use the idea of “unity” or the “oneness of humanity” and so on to promote their messages. It smacks of totalitarianism. If everyone was to join a particular spiritual group on the premise that “we are all one” with “one vision”, “united” by some grinning guru beaming down on us all, we’d be doomed, if not to genocide, then to eking out some bland existence in a blissed out, corporate-hippy dippy group mind bubble the real world does not impinge upon. Sai Maa did learn from the best, non other than the former personal assistant of another Cult leader. She needed help in acquiring more assets for herself, why have a non-profit with a board to oversee your spending when you can form a LLC and keep more money for yourself. And her followers eventually becoming her money slaves….. Now imagine her income….
My wife’s close friend who was also Sai-Maa’s follower just sold her business, sold her house and divorced her husband (they were married for 30 years and had two beautiful daughters). After selling her business and a house, she collected all the money and donated to Sai-Maa… and of course “Her Holiness” took it…. This is what I call brainwashing and stealing!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it sucks that “Her Holiness” cannot be prosecuted because all the donations are done by the people “at their own will”….

I definitely hear what people are saying in this thread, but I think that the majority of what’s being said is not based on any facts. I’m in the community and it has changed my life for the better in more ways than I even knew possible. I didn’t enter as someone with “problems” – I don’t do drugs, I wasn’t out searching for something – I entered as an intrigued, open-minded individual. Today, I am still an intrigued, open-minded individual with a community of friends from all over the world whom I love dearly. Maa’s teachings have only served to make me more loving, compassionate, and joyful. I absolutely adore my family – despite their open skepticism and distrust in Maa. We actually joke about it being a cult. The thing that makes it NOT a cult to me is that no one says “you should avoid all the people you know who aren’t a part of this” or “you must do this and that to be special”. They say “do what you want, act out of love, be mindful and aware of yourself, and know that no matter what Maa loves you”
When it comes to the money stuff, it’s not that much in the grand scheme of things. I look at other stuff I could spend money on that would equal the cost of events, and typically it breaks down to “i could spend this on eating at a restaurant and a new pair of expensive jeans, or I could go hang out and meditate with some of my favorite people and just be joyous”. It’s all about choices.

I have read the letter posted to start this blog and I’m wondering if anything has changed with your relative? It can be very disheartening when very little happens to put a stop to the hold they have over people and theft of everything they own.

Cult leaders change their image and that of the group as needed to avoid prosecution and litigation, to increase income, and to recruit a range of members. Cult leaders have an innate ability to attract followers who have the skills and connections that the leaders lack. The longevity of the group is dependent on the willingness of leadership to adapt as needed and preserve the group. Frequently, when illegal or immoral activities are exposed to the public, the cult leader will relocate, sometimes taking followers with her. She will keep a low profile, only to resurface later with a new name, a new front group, and perhaps a new twist on the scam.

I have come to the conclusion that those who attract people to religions that involve relaxation/meditations are aware of how powerful suggestions are while they are in the state of receiving the teachings from their ‘guru’. The words ‘energy vampire’ is an accurate description of what happens. The same kind of phenomena takes place no matter what the group is called and it is usually the leader or guru who benefits the most.
The more educated we are on this type of phenomena the better choices we’ll make and put the ‘money sucking manipulator’ out of business.

Sai Maa wants to dupe as many people as possible and take your money. How do well-educated, professional people fall for that kind of guru-worship? Someone should do a sociological study of the phenomenon regarding what makes such people lose their otherwise rational senses. It is curious that so many gurus, cults and New Age scams use the idea of “unity” or the “oneness of humanity” and so on to promote their messages. Lets not forget she is a disciple of Sathya Sai Baba.

I will remain anonymous for I have a very close friend in the organization maa runs and I don’t want to make her feel uncomfortable, because I know that if someone from HIU sees my post here they’ll tell my friend and they will go on trying to defend sai maa.

First of all, you don’t have to leave your family to follow your spiritual calling. In fact following a guru doesn’t mean at all you are following your spiritual calling. Eating vegetarian and meditating does not mean you are following your true nature, sometimes it is actually detrimental.
3-dimensional realm is called real life. and if you get a handle on that, instead of trying to escape it through reading lots of metaphysical stuff and meditating in groups , which for years may look like you are developing, but in reality you have nothing to show for it, because all of your money is going to your guru and her houses and seminars, and you meditate and eat exactly what she says you should, but you don’t experiment with your own desires. You spend a lot of time fitting yourself in “her” framework. this is not a path of truly knowing yourself and creating life of your dreams. this is a life of creating someone else’s. Simply put – you don’t need anyone to lead you to joyful, fulfilling life. I have found that doing what I want and putting all of the efforts into that and making things happen in MY life is the most fulfilling thing. And from this place I can help others. But never would I help sai ma. I am deeply saddened by how after so many years my friend is not developing however, defending her community saying that they are all so cool and kind, but I have been to their meetings, all the talk about is ma, and what she teaches, which is not at all anything astounding. you can read what she talks about on the internet and in any metaphysical book. She doesn’t teach anything so special or new. Only those who have never been exposed to other Self Development teachings can buy into what she teaches. But it is truly nothing special.
And ye, she does encourage people to leave their families. Why? Because than they are more devoted to her and are less prone to be talked out of giving her everything they have. and then she also teaches that if you have mixed or negative feelings towards your guru that is your own negativity and it is an illusion.

Dear, money is wonderful when used right. I can bet that you are yourself not very wealthy, because then you would know that personal prosperity and simply being able to get yourself a comfortable living IS a part of your fulfilling spiritual existence. We are not here to just meditate, ok, after you are all healed and feel great – then what? then you use it to create a great life for yourself! you own business, travel the world, buy your family cool stuff, help those in need, do WHATEVER you want. not sit and meditate for the rest of your life. unless that is the only thin you want to do. I don’t. in fact I became happier and more transformed after I stopped practicing spirituality as much as I did before and reading about it and started to actually DO something to create the life I wanted for myself and investing every penny and minute of my day into me.
I feel much more spiritual now and connected. IN fact teaching that helped me the most were stating “visualize 5 min a day and then TAKE ACTION” spending a bunch of money on sai ma and wasting your time on so much meditation IMHO is taking time away from yourself. and that is what happened to my friends. She doesn’t date, she feels like she will never be good enough (of course if you compare yourself to this guru magician of emerald city, you will never feel good enough) and she lives a very plain life like all of the HIU people.
For all this years my friend has been with sai ma, has she ever called her for her birthday? has she ever asked her if she needs any help? NO! and she knows her in person.
sai ma always wants you to join their organization and then you have to do all this what they call “sava” which is donating your time and working. which is pure free labor. sai ma never washes her dishes, never does her own laundry, she has people do this for her because she is “HOLLY” and her body needs to be preserved. that just makes me sick. Her own FUND TO PRESERVE HER BODY? what does that mean? very expensive clothes, expensive organic food, first class plain tickets, hotels and yes, very expensive properties she owns. When she doesn’t do ANYTHING. Only blesses people. ok.

sai ma is very well aware of what goes on in her organization and that some of those people are not very happy. of course! if you really loved and respected yourself you would dedicate your life to your self. and what YOU want to do and your own gifts. not a guru and those people are telling themselves that serving maa is their life’s purpose. I don’t believe in that. I just can’t. how? do you not have your own lives to create?
Overall hanging out with HIU people I have noticed that none of these people are deeply fulfilled. they “support” each other through “painful transformational times” but they don’t see that their actual pain is caused by following and living for somebody else. And there is always this “do as maa says, maa said, and my teaches and maa told me”. I have seen people getting married to completely wrong people because she recommended. or people just being hypnotized into devoting themselves to her sacrificing their own happiness. and telling themselves that they are unhappy because they are not doing it right according to maa’s teachings. She is not holly at all. she needs to come down to Earth. she is an energy vampire and a money sucking manipulator. and quite delusional as well.
There are much better teachers out there who are much more down to earth and more approachable, less expensive and truly helpful.
She is not at all anything special. In fact we all are. ok?

Said Maa takes whatever she wants. Some of her students are being sued because of her stealing funds from the organization. No level of involvement is worth all of her problems. Sai Maa has bouts of radically unskilled behavior. No one ever knows when it will hit. Stay clear of her and her deluded entourage.

Sai Maa was my first spiritual teacher, whom I met in Los Angeles around 1993. She is indeed enlightened and a bonafide guru. She is one of the rare female spiritual leaders acknowledged in India, as you can see by her current Kumbha Mela flyer. She has also been endowed with “Her Holiness” title by the Dalai Lama, which is a very rare occurrence as well. Most gurus leave their families, as did Buddha, because the spiritual calling is much stronger than the 3-dimensional realm. Those who reach high levels of consciousness would not take a million dollars in place of their spiritual experiences — we are here to regain our spiritual heart-minds, not pursue material possessions. I had a problem with her love of money — but to her credit, she admits openly that she loves money. Devotees paid for two (2) $1 million dollar properties in Crestone, Colorado — which is why her workshops became so expensive — but you can blame the stupid accountants and those in charge of her personal affairs on that one. She is real but definitely needs to be more humble, in my opinion — my beloved Buddhist rinpoche lived in a beat-up old mobile home and drove an old Toyota — and gave us everything we needed to become enlightened. Sai Maa cleverly doesn’t give tools to devotees to work with to become enlightened in her absence, while she is away on tour. As with most foreign gurus, they take our money back to their own countries and leave us hanging until they come back. Get what you can out of her astounding spiritual presence and be prudent with your money !!

My husband left me also after becoming involved with HIU, he told me that although we were happily married it was his dharma to follow this path that was revealed to him through deep meditation guided by Sai Maa. It is my understanding that Sai Maa left her husband and children to follow her guru as well. How sad that these individuals seek more to life rather than realize that life IS the path.

My wife was always interested in Eastern mysticism and she fell into the cult’s clutches at a spiritualist Weekend.
I have lost my wife to Humanity in Unity (HIU). Indian spiritual teacher, Her Holiness Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi who is teaching that the Earth is about to ascend into a new and higher dimension, and those who are spiritually prepared for the change will be moving with it.God help us all.

Sai ma is a teacher of wisdom like the dalai Lama
She is a great healer too, I’ve gotten the discshaw healing from one of her pupils. most of the courses are how to heal your life kind of things. If you think sai ma is a cult, then every healer or the dalai lama is a cult. she doesn’t ask to be led blindly, its a persons choice, i’ve never heard her ask for money, people give it out of choice because she’s helped them. I’ve seen the other cults on TV and heard of sexual abuse, and all sorts of other nasty things. Sai ma is a spiritualist at best, hindu mainly.she doesn’t sell herself as a god so cult would not be the word. I know someone on the association and they mostly have their own jobs and help out sai ma by paying for her hotel when she comes here. The courses are a bit pricey, but it’s such a nice talk she does I think it’s worth it. Shes like the Female dalai lama. She doesn’t suck you into something, she gives you wisdom and thats it.

I have just been left by my husband so he can immerse himself in her followings and teachings…..so it is a most confusing time. He has been telling me that being with her is “finding God” and that he now “knows his path” – he is staying in Colorado to be a part of this community. I don’t know what to make of it but am very disheartened to know that any spiritual leader may endorse or accept a man’s total abandonment of responsibility and commitments he made to a wife and kids.

Further development took place in 2001, when Dialogue Ireland, though continuing to be supported by the churches, became an independent Trust, thus giving it greater freedom in carrying out its mission. Mike Garde is now the Director of Dialogue Ireland and is supported by a strong executive committee. *So DI Ireland will work with those from other creeds like Judaism, Hinduism, Islam or Buddhism which reject cultist tendencies. Also we are happy to cooperate with those who reject religion – sceptics, agnostics and atheists who share a common view of cultism. Freedom of the mind is our common platform for cooperation and we do not see this work as an opportunity to promote our particular faith position.
Can it be plainer we defend the rights of people to think for themselves.

I wish to share with you that I have been very blessed by knowing Sai Maa. She is pure light and love of the divine mother. Maa has assisted me through many difficult soul challenges. When a person gets involved with a powerful healer it is up to the individual how they respond. Maa does not encourage devotees. She wishes to create Masters so they are their own guru.
