Alternative Spiritualities, the New Age and New Religious Movements in Ireland

Interdisciplinary conference at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth.

(October 30th – 31st, 2009)

Guidelines for Presenters
Participants will have a maximum of 20 minutes to present their paper.
Papers will be distributed to all participants on a CD-ROM at the conference, and we are working on a publication of selected papers from the conference.

An electronic copy of your paper should be submitted to Laurence Cox at by October 15th for inclusion in the CD-ROM and consideration for subsequent publication.

It should be no longer than 9,000 words (including footnotes, bibliography, etc) and be in .doc (Word) or .rtf (general) format only.

Method of Payment:
Postal payment: Registration by post must be received by the
closing date and must include a completed copy of the registration
form plus full payment in one of the following forms: Cheque, Postal
Order or Bank Draft.
Please make all cheques/drafts/orders payable to ‘Alternative
Spiritualities Conference’. An email message confirming receipt of
payment will be sent to the address provided above.
Please bring your receipt with you when registering at the
Cancellation and refund policy
Any cancellation or change must be received and confirmed by the
Conference Registration Committee in official written notice via
letter or e-mail before September 30 for 70% refund of total
payment. No refund will be granted after this date or for no-show.
The refund will be processed one month after the conference, less
the applicable taxes and bank handling charges.
