The week before Justice Hogan delivered his judgement on the issue of depositions; i.e giving evidence in a case involving an oil company, Justice Hogan was at a function where he offered the Taoiseach a copy of a revised edition of a book on the Irish Constitution.

Interesting enough Carole Coulter of the Irish Times wrote a book entitled, are Religious Cults Dangerous in the early ‘80’s
RTE was totally silent on the matter. One can think they are still reeling from their Mission to Prey disaster, but how does the judgement of an eminent judge spell danger? One would have thought that this should have featured on Morning Ireland or some major news show as those expert in law could spell out the implications? (more…)
