On the 19th/20th of February:

 An Interfaith Forum hosted by Trinity’s Theological Society and the TCD Equality Fund will be hosting a forum entitled

“All Faiths and None”, where we hope to address the growing diversity of religions in Ireland and focus on ways to dialogue.

Invitation to Round table with Director of EU Fundamental Rights Agency, Friday 16th November at 9.15am.

We would like to invite you to a round table meeting with the Director of the EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA), Morten Kjaerum, next Friday 16th November.

The Director is visiting Ireland to meet with Government departments and other institutions, ahead of Ireland’s EU Presidency Jan-June 2013.

FRA attaches great importance to its partnerships and engagement with civil society in each member state and at EU level. The meeting will provide an opportunity for civil society organisations to find out more about FRA’s work and current initiatives and to brief Morten on issues of concern for you in the fundamental rights area.

ANONYMOUS Ireland. A lot of confusion revolves around the term Anonymous. It is is confused with all kinds of hacker and internet anarchism. There is nothing anarchic about this Chanology group. They are a generally highly ethical group committed to the protection of human rights and democratic freedoms which they see Scientology infringing. The article which was written by the Times of London really gets to the heart of what they are about. Also an very good paper on the the Anonymous issue.*
