There are three areas we would like to bring to your attention in regard to your rights.

Quinn’s Health Shops
Yesterday we published an Irish Times article on Quinn’s shops. Here there is a little number going on where there is an announcement of a loss and then happily it all works out.

This years accounts:
According to accounts just filed by Tony Quinn Health Centres Ltd, accumulated losses increased by €398,128 from €977,863 to €1.375 million in the 12 months to the end of September 2011.
The abridged accounts – signed off on December 19th, 2012 – show that the firm received a cash injection during the year of €3.5 million. This resulted in a shareholders’ deficit of €342,994 becoming positive shareholder funds totalling €2.75 million.
These were the figures in 2003
HEALTH and lifestyle guru Tony Quinn’s latest filed accounts for Tony Quinn Health Centres (TQHC) Ltd show that the weight loss, life extension and mind power kingpin’s company had a hefty €624,519 in cash on September 30, 2001. This represents an almost fivefold increase on the previous year. Mr Quinn’s dozen shops held a range of products valued at almost €1.1m, according to the accounts. These include ‘mind-power nutrients’, ‘life extension mixes’, audio-tapes and octogenarian Bob Delmonteque’s range of antioxidants. While the company showed €709,504 in total assets less current liabilities, the group’s retained profit and loss was heavily in the red, at €989,450.
Last year:
TQHC has listed Baringo as an outstanding creditor at year-end, valued at €980,224. Mr Quinn’s TQHC seems to be delivering a lucrative cash flow to the company that no doubt will fund continued product range development.

Our tax exile and Jersey based businessman had a subordinated loan of (€980,000) from parent company Baringo Trading Limited as reported today. Ten years ago the sum is just under a million as well, (€980,224,) a coincidence?
Can someone in Harcourt Square join the dots? Here is a tip. Someone orders the health products in Jersey. The price is fixed in Jersey and then sent to Dublin. The rest is history. Do we have evidence in deed. Will they talk? I would say so? Will they report it to the Gardai, it depends on whether they are under influence still. Have you seen a person under influence reporting a crime?

2. Human Potential Research, and Human Potential Research Seminars.
Normally people have paid up to €120k to go on seminar. More likely €44k or €18k, but nowadays TQ can’t get the big money other than through the oil company so let us say €10k? You have to be under influence to pay that kind of cash. You do not think about things like receipts or where the money is lodged. Did you get a receipt. Check at your local Garda station as to the statute of limitations of misrepresentation in selling seminars.
What benefit were you told you would receive? Were you not told the more it cost the more value it was to you? Furthermore did it deliver what it said on the tin? Rather can you show it was in fact the opposite from what they told you and it has left you disorientated and if anything you are now going backwards rather than forwards. You may be able to bring a case for misrepresentation of a course which has only benefited Quinn and left you on the side of the road without any hope of achieving these goals. Some of you are serial Educoists and have done more than one seminar under duress. A sub text to be explored in this regard is were you under undue influence when you agreed to go on the seminar. Also some of you were made to do a seminar which bankrupted you to become involved in say an Educo Gym franchised out from Quinn.
3. Finally we have evidence of modern day slavery in some of the Shops and the Educo Gyms which in some cases are not owned by Quinn but by fanatical supporters of his. While they refuse to recognise your most basic needs they are so under the influence they will be going on further seminars even though they are totally broke. They are out to lunch in more ways than one while their staff member is feeding on scraps. To give an example. Some may be abusing workers and treating them as slaves in operating in the gyms or in the shops without proper employment conditions who because of their loss of sovereignty are reduced to penury and emotional collapse.

fordIf I was promised a tangible product but didn’t receive it after paying and told that the product went missing am I entitled to compensation?
After inquiry to martin ford about this he proceeded to attempt to shatter my ego and then try to suck me into a pyramid scheme. He asked for ten of thousands straight off. I believe his request was independent of his master TQ. But just for his own benefit.
It’s a little like the catholic church scandals, if one person publicly win a case and gets compensation then everyone can get thousands back.
It may just take one to get the ball rolling. TQ and his too brass servents, Martin Ford etc, have made lots of money for their master based on products than don’t deliver. Most of the money was got from pressure selling.

Is the alleged sexual scandal still in the go? Please someone fill me in.
To Interest; unfortunately Maire Lalor has accepted a lump sum and is not bringing Tony Quinn to court for sexual abuse. It is a great shame as I have no doubt it would have informed the wider public and given reason ‘to get the ball rolling’ as the abuse has been going on, and documented, since the early 1970′s. How many of them are willing to come forward? Even in the early 1990′s I was aware of Quinn’s ability to silence anyone who was THINKING ABOUT confronting him with his behaviour. He does not have the Midas touch but he certainly has a sorcerers ability to quieten their minds. His ‘top brass’ and those close to him and most of them who attended seminars throughout the years know exactly what I am talking about. They know they are in for a rough ride if they face him head-on. Taking him to court as a group would certainly ease the pressure.
As for Martin and Margaret Forde, there are allegations that they are neck deep if not over their heads in criminally abusive behaviour. What else would you call it? The methods they use to extort money from people not only put them in debt but have an effect on their mental health. I am also familiar with their methods to take away any sense of positive self-esteem and the worst of it is they have reduced some to needing psychiatric treatment.
They may have gained financially from Quinn’s criminal activity but they, and I include Aideen Cowman, have also gained character traits of their psychopathic ‘messiah’.
Well at least people know he paid out. That should encourage more people to press him for money, and his servant martin ford and other top brass servants. That’s a start. Might get the ball rolling.
Angie how would you know she has settled? However, I believe no one is under any compulsion to go into a court case and be subjected to a full trial. What if she has health issues having dealt with these issues for over 6 years. If she has a settlement is that not better than years of worry which often end up on the steps of the court anyway.
I am going to amend that post as DI knows you have elaborated your experience in other comments, but using the name Angie means we would have to expose you if there was a case for defamation. We feel you are doing a great job in assisting the victims of abuse on this site, but this time you might have gone too far.

I have read posts and comments concerning the court case and, as far as I can remember, the case was meant to be heard this month and absolutely nothing seems to be happening. There is no other conclusion I can come to. Of course I understand the stress she must have endured and I think she was very brave to make the charges in the first place. I know now that I’ve been too optimistic about Tony Quinn’s sexual abusive behaviour being exposed in a court case although I continue to hope it will happen in the future and why shouldn’t it? Why should he get away with it? Considering the harm he has done to ‘alleged’ many, is it usual for such a charge to be settled out of court?
As for the Forde’s, what happened to me was criminal and I doubt I’m the only one. They operated in the TQ centre for years. Many reading my post will feel the same way about their actions. Rather than have DI under an obligation to disclose my identity I will rectify that to alleged allegations. Anyway, they would not have an ‘alleged’ leg to stand on if a group of us exposed their psycho treatments.
