The decision to publish the sentence of the Court in regard to Willi Stewart

In June 2011 I received a call from the mother of the victim of the young man who was sexually assaulted by Willi Stewart. She had heard that Willi Stewart had been instituted in a church in Norfolk.  At that time there was no mention of Willi Stewart on the net, except for few references.

He had been a heavy user of Facebook, but just a few months before he moved to England he made most of his entries private.

I phoned the Archbishop of Dublin on two occasions, his secretary told me on the first occasion he would get back to me. I phoned David Pierrepoint and notified him that I intended publishing the sentence of the court and did he have any response before I did. I did the same with Bishop Burrows.

He was the only one to reply arguing that he was under no obligation to reply to me. He said clearly he did not wish to inhibit my freedom to publish but stood over his decision in regard to Willi Stewart. See hand written note:

Letter from M Burrows

When I heard nothing from any of the above I wrote to the Bishop of Thetford after calling him.
